"Pink Ball Activate!"[1][2][3] is a musical piece composed by Hirokazu Ando, first appearing in Kirby: Planet Robobot.
Composition[edit]

"Pink Ball Activate!" is an energetic 2/4 theme in D Dorian mode, performed primarily with electronic instruments. It has an introductory segment teetering between C and B. The melody then comes in played by an electric guitar, each phrase ranging within a fourth. The phrase concludes with two rising octaves and a roll, a motif properly displayed in the third section of "Haltmann Works Co. HQ". This section repeats with new instrumentation, and the octaves are replaced with sixths, followed by harmonized beat. The second section of the theme is hopeful in character, featuring the original phrase in the bright E minor with elements of G major. The phrase now ranges within a fifth, and is also played by an electric guitar. It plays thrice, and the melody revolves around the dominant. Now with its original fourth range, the phrase modulates from E minor back to D minor, and after the rising octaves return, the track loops from the main melody.
