| 1st Logo (Mid 1980s) | 2nd Logo (1987?-1994) | 3rd Logo (March 20, 1994) | 4th Logo (November 18, 1994-1997) | 5th Logo (December 9, 1994) |
Visuals: On a black background, a circle spins in from the center of the logo. It's blue, green, and red with a white emblem resembling a stylized P. When it settles down in the middle of the screen, the silver words "PACK-IN" and "VIDEO" crawl from the top right and bottom left of the screen (respectively) and settle down above and below the circle.
Variant: There is a version used for VHD releases where, after the VHD logo, it fades into a white print logo on a gray background.
Technique: 2D animation.
Audio: None.
Availability: Appears on some Japanese VHS tapes and VHD discs, including Mutant Hunt and Vicious Lips.
Visuals: On a light blue background, three pieces of metal (one red, one green, and one blue) rotate in a glass prism that is above water, while two glass sheets with the words "PACK-IN" and "VIDEO" etched in them rotate around the prism. The three pieces of metal settle down, making the Pack-In-Video emblem (the circle described in the previous logo), and the water below ripples. Then, the glass sheets move up in front of the prism, causing a ripple effect, which becomes water, and the glass sheets settle down in the middle. The finished logo ripples and shines a bit.
Technique: CGI.
Audio: A calming, dreamy synth tune.
Availability: Appears on many Japanese VHS tapes from the label spanning many genres, including Freakshow (1989).

Visuals: Over a black background is the emblem from the previous two logos with the stylized P in gold. Below, there is "PACK-IN-VIDEO" in yellow with a shadow.
Technique: A still, sprite-based graphic.
Audio: The opening theme of the game.
Availability: Seen on Yamamura Misa Suspense for 3DO.
Visuals: Over a black background, there is the stacked text "PACK IN VIDEO" in red or yellow.
Variant: 3DO games have the logo with the 3DO Company logo next to it.
Technique: A still, sprite-based graphic.
Audio: None or the opening theme.
Availability: Seen mainly on Super NES titles and a few Sega Saturn games. The 3DO variant appears on Nishimura Kyoutarou Travel Mystery and Iida Joji Nightmare Interactive.

Visuals: On a black background, there is a gold box with the gold text "PACK IN VIDEO". The border spins like a cube and then the logo shatters.
Technique: CGI.
Audio: The music from the Super FX logo, which is a whooshing sound, followed by an explosion.
Availability: Only seen on Vortex for Super Famicom.
