RedOctane, Inc. was an American electronic entertainment company best known for producing the Guitar Hero series, beginning in November 2005. The company became a wholly owned subsidiary of Activision in 2006. On February 11, 2010, the studio closed the division. However in August 2025, it was revived under the Freemode division of Embracer Group.
Visuals: There is an audio visualizer, which moves up and down in sync with some tuning noises. As a held-out electric guitar note is heard, the equalizer moves up, revealing a pixelated fire below "redoctane" in a red and orange stretched font.
Variant: A still variant exists.
