Tansui is a character in Final Fantasy XIV. He is a lieutenant to the leader Rasho of the Confederacy.

History
Early life
Born in a poverty-stricken farming village in Hingashi, Tansui was witness to families selling off their children simply to have one less mouth to feed. Seeking to avoid the same fate, the young Hyur fled his home, and drifted into the welcoming arms of the Confederacy. When Doma fell to the Garlean Empire some years later, it was Tansui who was given the task of supervising the orphans who joined their ranks. Thus did fate introduce him to Rasho. They soon formed a well-balanced frienship, with Tansui eventually assuming the position of Rasho's infamous second-in-command.[1]
