Joultain is a non-playable character in Final Fantasy XIV. He appeared during the seasonal event Starlight Celebration in 2025.
History
During the Starlight Celebration, Joultain was among the children who visited the Starlight Stalls. When they approached Amh Garanjy to ask for mulled punch, they learned about a new kinderpunsch themed after the three city-states, though it was not yet ready. While they waited, the Warrior of Light stopped to speak with the children, and Joultain shared his fascination with distant lands—particularly the sea—explaining that his dream was to sail across the world aboard a great ship.
Once the kinderpunsch was finally prepared, the Warrior of Light helped serve it to the children. Afterward, the Warrior of Light returned to Mih Khetto's Amphitheatre to report back to Amh Garanjy. Shortly thereafter, Joultain appeared to express his gratitude, stating that when he grew up, he wished to become someone knowledgeable about the world, just like the Warrior of Light. Mother Miounne added that, when the time came, Joultain could register with the Adventurers' Guild.[1]
