Rakorok is a non-playable character in Final Fantasy XIV.
History
After Kaahe's helphand was injured in the landslide caused by the storm, Rakorok was tasked with replacing him and was at a loss for what to do. When Rediroq sent Wuk Lamat and the Warrior of Light to assist Rakorok, he asked for help in figuring out how to make Kaahe more comfortable in Earthenshire. Unable to question Kaahe directly, Wuk Lamat and the Warrior of Light visited the workshop to analyze the situation. Upon their return, Wuk Lamat reported three factors to Rakorok that were likely hindering Kaahe's creative efforts. The first was the excessively hot meals, which a common Hhetsarro wouldn't appreciate and which Wuk Lamat would discuss with the Moblin cook. The second problem was the state of Kaahe's tools, which Rakorok was more than willing to fix. The third concerned the stifling heat inside the workshop, which Rakorok suggested they try using a draftyshard.
Once the three points are resolved, Kaahe is invigorated and immediately begins working on crafting an exquisite oil lamp. Koana arrives shortly after to inform Wuk Lamat of the imminent start of the project and cannot help but be impressed by the potsworn's work. Rakorok is also quite pleased with Kaahe's drastic change in attitude. Wuk Lamat agrees with Rakorok that it is important to know as much as possible about the people you wish to help.[1]
