R'tcha is a non-player character in Final Fantasy XIV. She appeared during seasonal event The Rising in 2025.

History
Early life
R'tcha is the daughter of R'atoh. Both of her parents were lighthouse keepers of Llymlaen's Ring in the God's Grip. During the calamity, R'tcha's mother asked Dorathia to take her daughter to safety while the couple tried to protect the lighthouse. However, a devastating wave hit the region, taking many people and isolating Llymlaen's Ring on a single island. The Maelstrom searched for the missing, but R'tcha's parents were never found. Dorathia then began to take care of R'tcha at the orphanage she ran, the Llymlaen's Shoals, and promised R'tcha that one day she would tell her everything about her parents.[1]
The Rising 2025
After hearing rumors from other children that ghosts could be seen at Oschon's Torch lighthouse during the Rising, R'tcha imagined that they might be the ghosts of his parents. She was determined to disprove the rumor that her parents had become vengeful spirits and find them again. She went to the Drowning Wench and asked Baderon Tenfingers to accept her as an adventurer so she could leave the city alone. But Baderon rejected her request because R'tcha was too young. R'tcha then decided to leave the city alone, but was spotted by the Yellowjackets, and Ayoyo stopped her at the city gate. The Warrior of Light and the Wandering Minstrel, who had been sent by Baderon out of fear that T'tcha would attempt something alone, arrived at the scene. Seeing T'tcha's determination, the Wandering Minstrel proposed that instead of becoming an adventurer, she could hire one to escort her to the lighthouse. So the Warrior of Light and Ayoyo accompanied her to Oschon's Torch.[2]
During the trip to the lighthouse, the party sees the landscape caused by the Calamity. R'tcha reveals that her parents died in the Calamity and that she lives in an orphanage, and believes the ghosts may be her parents. When they finally arrive at the lighthouse, they talk to the lighthouse keeper, Rostnzeh. It is with mixed feelings that R'tcha learns from Rostnzeh that no ghosts haunt any lighthouse he knows. Upon learning that T'tcha was R'atoh's daughter, Rostnzeh excitedly tells her about her parents. When the Calamity unleashed a monstrous tidal wave on Vylbrand, the couple had fought desperately to protect their lighthouse. Though they lost their lives in the trying, they saved many by doing their duty to the last. The knowledge serves to comfort R'tcha, and at Rostnzeh's invitation, they stay the night to hear more tales about her parents. So it is that R'tcha achieves closure, and inspired by her parents' bravery, she resolves to become someone who helps others.[1]
