Marvel Games

From the Audiovisual Identity Database, the motion graphics museum

Marvel Games is the video game licensing and publishing branch of Marvel, established in March 2009.

Logo (July 25, 2024-)

Visuals: The screen shifts between comic book pages with a tint that shifts from yellow to red. The Marvel Games logo (which is the same as Marvel Studios' logo, but with "GAMES" replacing "STUDIOS") slowly materializes through glitch effects before becoming metallic and silver, with "MARVEL" being in a metal box and "GAMES" having lines over and under it. As this happens, the comic pages fade out and the background darkens before fading into a red color, with a light shining on the words.

Technique: CGI by PERCEPTION, Picturemill and Exodo Animation Studios.

Audio: Pages flipping, a trance hip-hop orchestral fanfare, composed by Naveed Dezfoli, glitch sounds and an electronic drone.

Audio Variant: A variant without the fanfare exists.

Availability Notes: It was first seen on the No One Rival Dooms Cinematic trailer and Jeff the Land Shark Character Reveal teaser trailer of Marvel Rivals.
