Day 2 - Create a fannish wish list.

This one sounds fun! And may take a while. You got all day? :)

Crossovers with my tiny fandoms. (For these, fic, art, gifsets, icons, snippets, etc. all welcome!) I'd especially love to see crossovers with Highlander or Lost Girl. At the top of my list:

• Supernatural/Lost Girl (Bo wants a threesome, naturally.)
• Highlander/Deadwood (Duncan meets Seth. ♥ And Joanie.)
• Highlander/Longmire (Henry is Immortal! Or Walt is. Or Duncan moves to Absaroka County to try and get away from it all, but brings trouble with him.)
• Highlander/Lost Girl (Bo still wants a threesome! She always wants a threesome.)
• Highlander/Jeremiah (I've always wanted to see how Immortals dealt with the Big Death.)
• Supernatural/Miracles (This has to be the most natural crossover ever.)
• Supernatural/Longmire (I would love to see Walt and Henry deal with something supernatural. And I'd love to see Dean and Sam deal with Vic.)
• Jeremiah/Miracles (again, they just go so well together)
• Highlander/Miracles (I know, I wrote it, but that doesn't mean I don't want more of Alva as an Immortal)
• All of the Highlander/Supernatural ever
• Supernatural/Jeremiah, because Jeremiah and his little brother have the same origin story as Sam and Dean, but with a twist. Actually, this might work better as a fusion.
• Highlander/Hustle/24 (This makes sense in my head, I swear.)

Hannibal AUs. Anyone have any good recs for these? Actually, I will gladly take Hannibal recs in general.

More Longmire fic. In particular, I'd love to read Walt/Vic/Henry. And vids, I need more vids!

Any kind of fanworks at all about Bobbi Morse/Melinda May. Art would be amazing.

Stories where Sam Winchester leaves the hunting life, and Dean, and finds some peace. Don't hate me, but I just want to read some stories about Sam getting out and finding happiness. Can be crossovers, or not. Anyone have any good recs?

Any kind of Jeremiah fic. Or just someone to talk about the show with.

ETA: Groundhog Day Kirk/Spock (ST:TOS) Anyone have a rec for a good one of these?

ETA2: A multifandom vid to this song. In my fantasy, it's Fast&theFurious/Leverage/Avengers/Hustle, but everyone looks at me funny when I try to explain how great it would be. Or someone to encourage me to make it. :)

1. A very lovely person has been reading and commenting on some of my favorite (little-read) stories on AO3. ♥ Honestly, the very idea that someone else loves not only Duncan MacLeod and Amanda Darieux, but also Sam Winchester and Gwen Raiden, is enough to keep me happy for days.

2. I spent most of today eBaying, which I love because it combines my love of a) money and b) getting rid of crap.

3. I don't really read Captain America fic, but thanks to destina and her vidding mojo, I was craving a bit of Steve/Bucky, so I read the latest by gwyn_r and it was super-sweet: Every Picture Tells a Story. I love this! It made me happy.

It's been a long time since I posted any recs, mostly because I haven't had time or internet access to download or read much. This week, I finally reached critical mass on some of the amazing stuff I have managed to consume in the last few months. If your whole day isn't taken up by the Super Bowl, you might find something here to enjoy.

I love every single thing about this vid. It's exactly the way I watch the show—for Audrey fucking Parker, and her boys, and the way they all love each other so much. And if you're not watching Haven, and wondered whether you should, this might answer that question.

Winchesters' Thrift Shop by deirdre_c (Supernatural, comedy)
Not a single missed opportunity for funny in this. Can't recommend highly enough!

Gray Goes Black by gwyn_r (Miracles, horror)
A riveting and goosebump-inducing vid that captures the scariest aspects of this show, and makes them even more unsettling. I could watch this over and over.

Epiphany by faege (Supernatural, Sam & Dean gen, long and emotional post-S5 au)
I loved every bit of this. Such beautiful writing—one of those that makes me never want to write again! Couldn't put it down. Such a thoughtful story, and so true to the characters. Great use of Castiel, too, and appearances by both Missouri and Jody—awesome.

Snow on Snow, Snow on Snow by madame_naan (Supernatural, S7 Sam & Dean gen hurt-comfort)
This piece feels so real, and I love how it doesn't flinch from the bleakness or the horror of their lives, but still gives me such hope and makes me feel the strength of their caring for each other.

I'll Be Thelma by mediumrawr (Lost Girl, Bo/Kenzi)
Really good Bo/Kenzi is always a treat, and this made my week. A satisfying, hot-as-hell and in-character story that feels like it could totally happen on the show.

The Long Shadow by destina (Merlin, Merlin/Arthur alternate series ending)
I feel that everyone has probably already read this, because who would not want to read an alternate Series 5 ending written by Destina? But it still bears mentioning, because perfect fix-it is perfect.

This took me a lot longer than 30 days. I guess it would have gone faster if I had just answered the questions, instead of rambling on, but that would have been a lot less fun.

Day 12 - An episode you've watched more than 5 times

As it worked out, Buffy, Angel, and Firefly were on my short list for a lot of these, but didn't end up as my top pick for any of them -- which is just sad, considering how much I love them all, and how much I'm still invested in Angel in particular. Mostly, it's that I feel smarter people than I have said so much about them. But today's category seemed like a good time to give at least a nod to the Jossverse, so I chose one of my top five favorite Angel episodes, "Power Play."
