1. Do you remember the episode/scene/chapter that you first started shipping 5?

I shipped it before I ever saw the show, thanks to vids and knowing the story already. But destina wooed me (cleverly) with "The Wicked Day," S4E3, in which Merlin spends the night on the floor in a hallway so that when Arthur emerges from his grief, he won't be alone. The other episode that sealed the deal was probably S1E10, "The Moment of Truth," because for me it made Merlin and Arthur more equals, and there were so many little intimate scenes between them.

2. Have you ever read fanfiction about 2?

Ha! Hahahahaha. Er. Maybe one or two…

3. Has a picture of 4 ever been your screen saver/profile picture/tumblr id?

I have a journal icon of them, and I tend to use it as my default Grimm icon.

4. If 3 were to suddenly break up today, what would your reaction be?

I'd hope that they parted on good terms, and I'd be very sad, because it would probably be for a good reason. I don't see either of them ending a relationship lightly.

5. Why is 1 so important?

Because there can be only one! But not if they have anything to say about it. I never believed that "there can be only one" was inevitable, and I don't think it has to be—but I do think it's going to take these two working together to prevent it from happening.

6. Is 4 a funny ship or a serious ship?

Pretty funny! But also a long-lasting, vibrant and loving partnership. So, both?

7. Out of all your ships listed, which ship has the most chemistry?

Oh, man. Tough one. I'll go with Duncan and Methos.

8. Of all the ships, which ship has the strongest bond?

Geez, another tough one. Sam and Dean, or Arthur and Merlin? They both have that whole destiny, death-shall-not-part, I'd die for you in a heartbeat thing going on. But I think Sam and Dean's bond has been more severely tested, and it's still unbreakable, so I'll give it to the Winchesters.

9. How many times have you read/watched 2’s fandom?

Depends on which season you're talking about. I rewatched all of S1-3 probably at least 6-7 times (some episodes more). Since then, pretty much only once. (Except for S7, which hit a lot of my buttons—I watched a lot of episodes twice that year.) From S8 on, there are still some episodes I've never seen and probably won't.

10. Which ship lasted the longest?

I'm with hafital, I'm not sure whether this question means longer for them, or for me. But in either case, it's a tough one. Sam and Dean have been together all Sam's life, for one thing, but they also have the potential to be together in the afterlife, thanks to canonical soulmates sharing a Heaven. Then there's Duncan/Methos, which, Immortal. {Could Gwen Raiden potentially be a pre-Immortal? Why not!) And of course Arthur and Merlin, who are prophesied to find each other again at the time of Albion's greatest need (which may be a forever kind of prophecy). Since I'm not sure I can answer for them, I'll answer for me: Duncan/Methos! I started shipping them in 1997.

11. How many times, if ever, has 5 broken up?

Aww, well, my knowledge of canon isn't that strong with Arthur and Merlin, but I'm not remembering any canon breakups. Possibly I'm forgetting something?

12. If the world was suddenly thrust into a zombie apocalypse, which ship would make it out alive, 1 or 3 ?

Well, since three of the four have the advantage of immortality, that kind of makes it tough. Amanda's a survivor, and so is Gwen, but can anyone out-survive Methos, under any circumstances? I'm not so sure. Also, I think that mentally and emotionally, Amanda would have a really hard time with a post-zombie apocalypse world. On the other hand, I think Amanda and Gwen's relationship would have a better chance of surviving. Duncan and Methos are both really well-equipped to handle zombie apocalypse survival, but I think their approaches would be vastly different, and it could spell a breakup for them, with Duncan becoming some kind of resistance leader and Methos disappearing someplace remote and isolated for a hundred years or so. Hmmm. I think I'll give it to Duncan and Methos on this one, just because a) both Immortal, b) mad skills, and c) my pollyanna faith that they care about each other too much to ever completely let one another go.

13. Did 4 ever have to hide their relationship for any reason?

Well, sort of. Because theirs is an inter-species marriage, coming out to their families was tough, and now they've been targeted by a hate group.

14. Is 5 still together?

*sobs quietly* Yes! Yes, dammit! *more sobbing*

15. Is 1 canon?

Does the double quickening count? :D

16. If all five ships were put into a couple’s hunger games, which couple would win?

I like hafital's answer, that this group could figure out a way to save each other and defeat the Capitol without too much trouble. (In a true battle, I guess it depends whether Immortality trumps Merlin's magic, and that would depend on the nature of Immortality. But I can't believe this group couldn't end the hunger games for good.)

17. Has anyone ever tried to sabotage 5’s ship?

Oh, my goodness, yes. That sneaky dragon at the top of the list.

18. Which ship(s) would you defend to the death and beyond?

All of them! Except probably Amanda/Gwen, because I'd be good with them as frenemies, too. I do kind of want to kill all the wesen who are trying to break up Monroe and Rosalee in particular. But I assume this means, defend against naysayers in fandom, in which case, all of them. :) But especially Sam/Dean.

19. Have you ever spent hours a day going through 3’s tumblr page?

Laughable, since both characters are virtually nonexistent on Tumblr, and I'm pretty sure I'm the only person who actually ships them in any serious way. But, um, I have spent some quality time looking at Elizabeth Gracen's semi-nude pictures. Minutes, at least, if not hours.

20. If an evil witch descended from the sky and told you that you had to pick one of the five ships to break up forever, which ship would you sink?

Amanda/Gwen. I'd feel very sad for Gwen in particular, because I don't think she gives her heart easily—but there's always Gunn!
