Patchwork Mouse

Made three little cross stitch poodles: black (with white backstitching), brown, and hell- (black and gray with red outlining, horns, and tail).

Very cute pattern.

An adaptation of the mayhaps pattern. Needs bigger ears next time.

Finally finished the Three Doctors cross stitch (all it needed was the rest of the backstitching). Also made a little narwhal from the simple animal kit.

Made a little houndstooth mayhaps, for Philcon. Got the feet on back to front, but it's otherwise satisfactory.

Painted the cats in the window that I've been thinking of. Managed to get four and a half in, not just four, although the extra half is a kitten. Mottled tortie/calico on a black base, solid gray (in my head it's a gray tux, but only the back is visible), seal point Siamese, white with black spots, calico kitten. I think this is the best painting I've done so far. Certainly my favorite.

I also started a winter scene, with white ground and blue-white sky. Not sure what else goes on it. Something will come to me.

Another tiny animal cross stitch, this time an orca. From the kit of ten animals.

Finished the Disappearing TARDIS cross stitch. It came out great. Still needs a back; I'll probably use the TARDIS fabric from my blouse and fusible web.

aka Doorway to Faerie, a painting. It came out well, I think. This means that I can probably also do the Golden Path painting that I want, and will thus need a full panel at Philcon.

The stippling did NOT work, although I managed a tiny galaxy with a regular, small brush. Painted over the canvas about three times, and finally made a space/sky/star cat: black silhouette on starry background. Too many stars, but it works. Might do another one with a different cat shape, one with open eyes. Or not.

On to other things!

Finished a little cross stitch penguin from that animal kit. Next up: vworp-vworp bookmark.
