Today I made:
Flame-colored chain pendant earrings. Okay, but I should have used more red instead of equal colors.
Knight and Princess earrings, from some of the buttons plus glued-on bails. Nice. But I need to be more careful to get the bails straight.
Necklace from half the Troll beads I bought last summer (peacock and matching). Pretty.
Tomorrow I plan to make at least a pendant from the orca Troll bead, although I'm still deciding what kind of necklace to put it on. Also the Old MacDonald's Farm necklace and maybe a pair of chicken earrings. And a backpiece for a mask, with buttons on either end.
Then I'm turning my attention to sewing for awhile. First up: blouses and more masks.

Finished the patchwork stars blouse. It looks great.
Did a lot of tie dyeing yesterday--six t-shirts and nine pairs of socks--although it still needs to be rinsed out, dried, and then washed in hot water. Not sure how they came out, since they're still wrapped in plastic to stay wet while the dye sets.

Made a summer skirt out of black plaid patchwork fabric. Didn't have quite enough, because I originally thought I would be making a blouse out of it, but I made it work. In-seam pockets, of course.
Made--and picked up today--two more fused glass coasters. These don't have feet, because the blade of my knife gets caught under the first batch; I finally figured out that that's how I kept spilling my entire glass of milk.
I also started a double-sided fleece vest, which I was seized with a desire to make, last week.

Notes to self:
1) When making a reversible vest, use velcro closures and decorative buttons. (That way both sides can lap over in the correct direction.)
1a) When ignoring the above and insisting on sewing buttons back-to-back, flat buttons will not work, they have to be shank.
2) It is almost impossible to sew decent buttonholes into brocade.
3) Flimsy polyester lining fabric is very difficult to work with.
