Finished the gray "Easter bunny" from the kit. Not going to make the white one any time soon, if ever. I still think it looks like a gnome.
Made the hellpoodle (aka Poodle of the Baskervilles). It's not bad, but the muzzle is too long and the neck should be more upright. (ETA: also a more defined forehead) I'll have to fix that before make a poodlecorn. (If I ever do; this fur is murder to work with.)
Also, decided that the panda bunny is a No.
Also, decided that the panda bunny is a No.
A panda-loving friend is having a baby early next year. I was going to give her the pandapotamus, even though it's rather big for a baby (at least as big as a newborn!). But I suddenly thought of a panda bunny. Not sure if it's a good idea or a bad one. We'll see how things go in the next few months.

Finished the Black Rabbit of Inlé. It came out really well. I failed to make starry eyes, so they're pure black like the nose and fur.

Made the Bigwig. The longer nutmeg fur is a slightly different color than the shorter, perhaps because it's a different dye lot, but also because the tips are darker; it's not a problem, it just makes it stand out more, which is a good thing.
I want to make the Black Rabbit of Inle, too. I'd love to also make Blackberry, but I'm not going to have time before Lunacon, and they really need to be a set.

Definitely going to make Bigwig, from Watership Down. The longer fur that I need is on order. The cartoon had his topknot be black, but the text doesn't support that, so it's going to be the same color as the rest of his fur.
Hazel-rah would just be an ordinary rabbit, of course; Blackberry has black-tipped ears. I *might* make the two of them if Bigwig doesn't sell right away, but there's not enough time before Lunacon and they need to be a set for display.
ETA: the Black Rabbit of Inle! I must!

Made two snow furries, a rabbit and a mouse. I had wanted longer fur, but the 3/4" turned out just right for the ~4" scale of these critters.

Made a little jackalope with pipecleaner horns, using the Runo rabbit pattern (same as the tiger bunny and modified for the dustbunny). Cute. The nose is a bit too big, but I didn't have brown in the smaller size and black just looked wrong. Note to self: buy brown 12mm noses.

bunnycorn!
Probably the big rabbit pattern, not the tiny one that I'm going to use for the jackalope.

Finally finished the rabbit warrior. *Extremely* annoying. I think I'd be a lot happier if I'd just abandoned the armor once I realized how tedious it was going to be to sew on All. Those. Buttons.

Made the tiger bunny, with Runo's little rabbit pattern. It went fast, less than two days including making the pattern pieces. The ears are too far forward, but that's my fault. I've already adapted the pattern for the Harmony dustbunny, which I'll probably make in August.

I finally made the tunic-base for the rabbit warrior's armor. Now I just have to sew a metric fuckton of rabbit-shaped buttons to it.

Finished the Klingon bunny. The forehead wrinkle is even subtler than the Vulcan ears, without the benefit of a funky fur color. (The fur is a beautiful chocolate brown, but short, thin, and not terribly soft--unsatisfying at best.)
I'm going to hold off on the rest* of the Star Trek bunnies, because I'm getting a bit tired of rabbits. Maybe next year.
*now including a Borg. maybe.

Made the Vulcan bunny. Light sage green fur and pointed ears. The effect is pretty subtle, but I decided against trying the angled eyebrows. The eyes are emerald green; it looked better than the black ones.
Next up: Klingon bunny.
Next up: Klingon bunny.
Made the Andorian bunny. The beanbag in its butt definitely helped, as did angling the tail up farther. It's still a little tippy, but not bad.
I'm not entirely sure if I'm going to make the Vulcan bunny next and then the Klingon, or the other way around.

Finished a rabbit. Cute, but it tends to pitch over on its nose instead of standing up straight. I think I'll try putting beads in the butt for the next one; that should help. Good pattern for the Star Trek bunnies. The pattern has a few minor issues, but nothing I couldn't/can't sort out fairly easily.
If I can figure out how make a sort of tunic for this one, I'll sew on a bunch of those wooden rabbit buttons from eBay and turn it into a warrior bunny. (Rabbit warrior?)
