Patchwork Mouse

An adaptation of the mayhaps pattern. Needs bigger ears next time.

Made a little houndstooth mayhaps, for Philcon. Got the feet on back to front, but it's otherwise satisfactory.

A little catching up! I did a bunch of Cricut-ing this fall, making presents for friends. Mostly mugs for my work buddies, in anticipation of retiring. (Three weeks ago! Whoohoo!) But I also made a t-shirt and a tote bag for my BFF. Finishing off the latter was the first crafty thing I did in 2024.

I have also started sewing another mayhaps, with the autumn leaves fur. This is the first stuffed animal sewing I've done since Covid started. No, wait! No it isn't: I made a stuffed seal for my great-niece two years ago as a baby present. I did cut out two animals in spring of 2021 before I had surgery, expecting to something to work on during recovery. But then I didn't.

I also have lots and lots of cross stitch and crocheting that I'd like to do. Mostly just patterns, but also cross stitch kits.

And! A new idea! Still need to work out the details, but make a heart-eyes plush using the heart-shaped noses that I have.

Made another small mayhaps, from the marble fur that I used for the gargoyle.

Made another mayhaps, a mini in raspberry pink with dark brown leopard spots. I didn't have any dark brown felt for the spines, so I used pink. The result is astonishingly girly.

The only fur unpacked and accessible is the spotted stuff. I have quite a bit of that, but if I don't move this fall I'm going to be pretty limited in what I can make this winter. Leopard corgi, anyone?

Made another mini mayhaps, in the white leopard fur that I bought last summer. Cute.

Finally made the ladybug mayhaps. It's a very successful one, a mini.

Made yet another mayhaps, a mini this time. It's the same fur as Teddy Garcia, the very bright leopard. Now I'm out of 12mm black eyes. I'll have to remember to order more soon(ish).

I finished the first mini-mayhaps. The feet are too high, because I misjudged the size, so it doesn't sit up quite straight. Short, very soft, olive fur. I still want to use the royal blue; I guess that's the next one.
