Let’s Hear it For the Girls:

I got tagged on Day 2 for salt_burn_porn—which proved to be extremely difficult, as the first Tuesday of the new year after a holiday is one of our absolute busiest days of the year, work-wise. To make things worse, I had a commitment to go wait in line at the vehicle registration office, another to cat-sit for friends, a third for a concom call about Escapade, and several of the seven people I live with needed attention on house matters. Nevertheless, I porned! More or less. It probably should have been twice the word count that it was, but still. It got done! Even if it is a femslash threesome that almost no one will want to read. :D

The stress of trying to do that while everything else was happening made me realize that it's been five years since I wrote (or vidded) anything that wasn't for a deadline. So, that's my goal for the first part of this year: write something that isn't for a story exchange, or a challenge! I'm going to commit to do this by the end of February. Let's see how that goes. (And I mean, yes, I realize that I'm giving myself a deadline, but that's different, right?)
