February seems to last forever and March is so welcome when it finally arrives. So weird for the shortest month.

I went to the nursery yesterday and picked up a Texas sage. We have a nice local nursery that isn't part of a huge chain and they reliably stock native plants. It's a bit early in the season though, as they had many empty tables and they said it would be a few weeks before they got in the herbs I was looking for. I need to replace the rosemary bush that died in the heat last summer.

I quit watching Hap and Leonard because . . . it got too real. The first season was delightfully unhinged, but the second season tried to hard and gave me a reality squick. Then I started Broadchurch and enjoyed the first season, but then the second turned into a courtroom drama, and if there's any genre of entertainment that I absolutely loathe, that would be it. But I liked the characters, so I skipped to the third season. We'll see how that goes.

With the arrival of March, I need to clean off the ceiling fans because they'll soon be running nearly full time. That's on the schedule for today and I plan to go to pottery. I've been challenged to make a rattlesnake cup by one of my friends there. I looked through Pinterest to get some ideas, but I'll have to see how it goes. Clay sometimes has a mind of its own.

Other than that, not much going on here. One week till Spring Break!
