For whatever reason, I only made two Miiverse posts in March 2013. I have no idea why I posted so few of them that month even though it was when I was still pretty obsessed with Miiverse, or why I somehow still ended up two weeks behind my self-imposed schedule for these Miiverse rerun entries regardless.

Translation:

Here's a Super Mario Bros. corrupted gameplay video that I discovered years ago - like, 2007-2009, probably - that I found so hilarious that I probably would've posted it to LiveJournal had I been active on LJ at the time. But I didn't since I wasn't as active on LJ back then. And somehow, I never got around to posting it to LiveJournal (or DreamWidth) in the intervening 8-10 years. UNTIL NOW!! Would you look at that!

At least the super-long delay means that I'm posting this after Super Mario Maker became a thing and therefore I get to point out that, in retrospect, Mario's name showing up as "M RY-" now reminds me of Mary O. (Even more so when I add an apostrophe-S!) :P

No, my amiibo collection didn't really become self-aware and take over my journal. That was an April Fools prank, even though I was too depressed about LJ drama to feel like saying so for six months. Who would've guessed that marioenyacrsvrs, of all communities, would be even worse than asperger was back in the 2010s?! :(

Will people PLEASE quit blaming the year 2023 for the bad things that happened in it?! So far, THREE people have overreacted when I told them my wife and I got married on October 19. I never thought I'd say this, but can't they go back to complaining about 2016?!

As I've mentioned a while back, I plan on replacing some of my userpics with more legible versions. (even though I've procrastinated that for probably at least a year now...)

Since I knew that doing that will cause me to lose track of what order I added my userpics, I kept a list of my userpics in my profile in order added - but I'm starting to run out of room on my profile now, so I moved it here and reformatted it into a table that hopefully looks better than the old layout.

Note that this excludes the following:
- Old versions of these userpics
- Alternate versions of some of these that I made to protest SOPA/PIPA/ACTA/etc. a few years ago

Let me get this straight. There's a video on Nintendo's OWN YouTube channel where Matthew Patrick (a.k.a. MatPat, a.k.a. the reason your friends are telling you that Mario is mental and are bullying you for playing Mario games) creates a level for Super Mario Maker (one where you have to kill Yoshi, no less)?

This makes me wonder: does Nintendo even KNOW about ANY of the things he's said about Mario that many people are taking WAY too seriously? Because if I worked for Nintendo, I wouldn't think that having the guy who's effectively (intentionally or not) brainwashing fans to hate Nintendo's mascot appear in a video promoting Super Mario Maker (or any other game) would be a good idea.

EDIT: I guess I should go ahead and outright state that the intro to this entry was a joke that sounded funnier in my head, and I probably made things even more confusing later on with another joke that sounded funnier in my head. Oh well. At least I've finally picked up where I left off regarding my old userpics!



I just uncovered the remains of an ancient tablet of some sort! Here is a rough translation, but it's probably not exact because many of the symbols are hard to read:

It sounds random to me, but at the same time, it almost sounds like a strange prophecy. Whether it is or not, there must be something it can tell us about something, even if only about the past. Hmm...


Carbon dating analysis estimates that this mysterious tablet dates all the way back to...

The middle of February 2014? Hang on, that can't be right...



Oh wait.


This isn't a surreal prophecy or even from an ancient-looking tablet - it's just the list of which of my userpics still needed to be made more legible as of when I last asked about any of them specifically (although it does feel like that was a long time ago):

Well, guess what? Now I finally managed to put down Super Smash Bros. 3DS for just Luigi enough to Rosalina the two userPacs that I hadn't Wii Fit Trainered before ChristMarth break, upload all nine to LinkJournal, and Pit them all in an entry!

Uh, I mean just long enough to revamp the two userpics that I hadn't revamped... you get the idea.


Anyway... Do these versions look Bowser? I mean, better?

What's sad is that recently-- Well, okay, not that recently, due to the long amount of time it took to write this entry, have it proofread, and continue to worry about whether or not it makes sense even after I had it proofread. But last October, I was hit with a realization similar to Character 15's, and I'm not even a randomly generated webcomic character.
