Resisting Everything but Temptation

Hello, internets. My folks have been in town since last Wednesday, and left this morning. We've been driving them all over Oregon and Washington looking at potential places to live, plus making sure they had a good time. Of course, as always happens right before a holiday, all my clients had Very Urgent Jobs that needed completing—which meant we worked by night, and have slept very little in a week (not to mention, both of us had rough weeks and slept little while my S.O. was away the week before). On top of that, a couple yellow jackets stung me on Tuesday, and I'm swelled up and doped on Benadryl besides.

This morning, we said goodbye, then I promptly went back to bed for four hours. Now I'm sipping coffee and watching (far behind the times) Doctor Who. Not sure anything that involves actual brain function or physical exertion is likely to happen today...

Mostly, though, I wanted to ask if anyone else is watching Under the Dome? (kerithwyn, I know you are!) I've been super pleased so far—it's much better than I'd hoped. And teenaged Colin Ford! It's all I can do not to drift off into thinking about teenaged Sam Winchester while I'm watching, but even aside from that, the show is making me very happy so far. I love the casting. Barbie is super-hot. So are Linda and Julia. Aisha Hinds is in it, and so is Dean Norris. Oh, what fun it will be to cross this over with Haven!
