I wasn't going to double up on fandoms in this meme, but in this case, I really can't resist. The vidder had me from "the bowling balls are bleeding!!"—and this could also double as "vid that made me laugh," because wow, does it. Just flawless song choice, comedic structure, rhythm, and A++ explosions. And elephants. And general mayhem. Not to mention amazing matches on things like the creaky wood sound when the trellis falls, CPR to the beat, sirens flashing to the beat, people screaming on the "aaahs!" the whistles blowing, etc. (Okay, FINE, I will watch more of this show.) Truly, better than a quad shot of fannish espresso.

This premiered at Vidukon yesterday, and blew all our socks off. I only watched the first season of this show, but I sure don't remember it looking this slick—this is exciting editing that gets your heart pumping and delights the senses, and makes the most of the action sequences, but never at the expense of the characters. What I love about it most is how the emotion and individual experiences of these characters stay front and center even as the relentless beat of the song and the visuals make you want to hit repeat as soon as it's over.
