Resisting Everything but Temptation

I have to work today, on account of the fact that VVC IS THIS WEEK (holy crap, how did that happen?) so, of course, I am nattering here instead. (To be fair, I started coding at 5AM and conquered a tricky bit I was dreading, so this is my reward.)

I blame gwyn_r, hafital, Melinda May, and Peggy Carter for my slowly awakening interest in MCU fandom, which seems to mostly take the form of mental vidding that happens while on the elliptical machine. My MCU vid songs playlist has taken over my entire ipod. I started musing on the Winter Soldier OT4(OT5) (as you do) and it occurred to me that there must be good fic (and probably at least one actual comic series) about what happened to the Avengers when Charles and Erik started messing with the timeline in Days of Future Past. Is that a thing?

Unrelated, there was an article in Costco Connection (what?) this month about teenage concussions caused by sports injuries, and their sometimes lasting effects. Now I really want to read teenchesters story where Sam gets concussed on a hunt, maybe age 15 or so, and takes months to recover from it, suffering migraines and reduced cognitive function and failing tests and not sleeping (or sleeping all the time) and Dean is completely freaked out (not to mention furious at himself for letting it happen), so he helps Sam with all his schoolwork and ends up getting his GED in the process and also, inadvertently, helps Sam get a scholarship to Stanford.
