Date: 2014-02-18 10:12 pm (UTC)...so after the last ep, when Rudy admitted that he and Dorian used to have nice long conversations, was I the only one imagining a hot human/android affair that broke Rudy's heart when he had to erase those memories? And how Rudy has to now watch Dorian bonding with John and be tormented by the fact that his lover doesn't remember him?

Rudy: “Oh just… the usual…”
Man, I put in the porn battle prompt for Dorian/Rudy *before* I saw that. I feel validated.

I never liked the actor much with either of his characters on Xena, and when I saw him along the way in other things I was always "meh". But I loved him as Bones, and he is blowing me away on Almost Human.

Date: 2014-02-17 03:43 pm (UTC)And the out-of-order airing makes absolutely, positively no sense to me. I wish someone at Fox would confess why they insisted that be done--or that the showrunners would, like, talk out of turn or something and let us know. Because I CANNOT figure it out.
Early on, a review of the show on The AV Club tentatively posited that maybe Fox pushed "Arrhythmia" so comparatively late because they thought ep. 3 was too early to introduce an identical DRN? (In other words, "Our viewers are so stupid that they can't handle the concept of an identical-but-somehow-different android"??) But AV Club admitted they were just wildly guessing there, and frankly, it doesn't even begin to explain the weirdo placement of other early episodes. WTF FOX, STOP IT.
