Escape Artist is an Agility-based perk in Fallout 76.
Gameplay[edit]
While not wearing Power Armor, the perk eliminates movement sounds while running and improves the ability to sneak. Entering sneak mode will temporarily cloak the player and break detection, this effect can happen every 5 seconds.

Notes[edit]
- The movement sound elimination is applied regardless of sneaking or standing.
- Sound generated by sprinting is not affected by Escape Artist.
Bugs[edit]
Prior to patch 1.1.2.9, gaining invisibility via the Chameleon mutation while already invisible due to the Escape Artist perk or vice versa would result in the player character gaining permanent invisibility. [Patched]
