Stripe is a miniature Deathclaw found at the Big MT in the Fallout: New Vegas DLC Old World Blues.

Background[edit]

Stripe appears in Higgs Village if the player has the Wild Wasteland trait. They can be found inside of Gabe's doghouse behind House 103. With the trait, the word "STRIPE" is also placed on Gabe's doghouse.

Gameplay[edit]

Stripe takes the appearance of a Deathclaw Alpha Male, having 100 more Hit Points than one. Stripe will only pursue the Courier as far as the fountain before retreating back to the doghouse.

Notes[edit]

  • Stripe, like all creatures classed as an Abomination, will flee if hit with a flare from the Flare Gun.
  • A mutilated body part is placed next to the Gabe's doghouse if Stripe is present.

Bugs[edit]

  • Xbox 360Xbox 360 Sometimes, Stripe will not appear, even if you have the Wild Wasteland trait.
  • Xbox 360Xbox 360 Stripe's health may be as low as a Brahmin's.
  • PCPC Xbox 360Xbox 360 If you save when Stripe is alive, then kill and fully mutilate him, and reload the save, it is possible he will not or cannot attack while the player character is in Higgs Village.
