A Seed Package is a world object in the Fallout: New Vegas DLC Old World Blues.
Gameplay[edit]
Seed Sackages are used by the Biological Research Station during the quest Field Research to clone and plant seeds in The Sink. The three packs contain dried seeds for Prickly Pear Fruit, Jalapeño Pepper, Maize, Broc Flowers, Banana Yucca Fruit, Barrel Cactus Fruit, Nevada Agave Fruit, Pinto Bean Pod, Xander Root, White Horsenettle, and Honey Mesquite Pods.
Uses[edit]
Seed Packages are used by the Biological Research Station to clone plants and replant them into one of the nearby plant beds. The Station can then convert the harvested material into Salient Green. All plants will be grown in The Sink three in-game days after giving the seeds to the Biological Research Station.
Locations[edit]
There are three Seed Packages and can be collected in any order during the quest Field Research. The Seed Package are activators and aren't added as seeds to the player's inventory. Instead, they are converted into dried versions of 11 miscellaneous items in total when activated.
- One package can be found at the X-22 Botanical Garden. It is on the second level of the building, guarded by a few Spore Carriers, Spore Plants and Patient Zero. Upon activation, the package is converted into a Dried Broc Flower, Dried Jalapeño Pepper, Dried Pinto Bean Pod and a Dried Xander Root.
- The second pack of dried seeds sits near a fountain northeast of the Signal Hills Transmitter and is guarded by a few Spore Plants along with a unique Spore Plant, Dionaea Muscipula. Upon activation, the package is converted into a Dried Barrel Cactus Fruit, Dried Nevada Agave Fruit and a Dried Prickly Pear Fruit.
- A third pack of seeds is found north of the second pack noted above, across the booby-trapped pipe and near a Spore Plant. Upon activation, the package is converted into a Dried Banana Yucca Fruit, Dried Honey Mesquite Pod, Dried Maize and a Dried White Horsenettle.
