Captain Rodriguez is a character in the Fallout Television Series.

An officer of the New California Republic Army in 2296, Rodriguez has been stranded with a number of NCR Veteran Rangers in the mountains near Primm for the last 10 years. They hope to one day reunite with their battalion.

S2E3 - The Profligate[edit]
In the mountains outside of Primm, Cooper Howard searches for the Rangers mentioned to him by Victor. A figure on a rock fires a shot past him, identifying themselves as Captain Rodriguez of the New California Republic. Cooper mentions that the NCR's greetings haven't changed, before being gun butted in the face by an NCR Veteran Ranger and knocked to the ground. As the ranger holds Cooper at gunpoint, Rodriguez told him to hold his fire, as Cooper and the NCR have a long history together.
As Cooper looks around the camp, another veteran Ranger, Biff, feeds a Squirrel while assuring him that "they" will come any day now. Cooper remarks that the group has seen better days and asks where everyone is. Rodriguez tells him that they're all there is. She elaborates that they've been cut off from reinforcements for over a decade. She tells Cooper that at the time of the Fall of Shady Sands, they had a battalion out east, and they could still regroup with them. Cooper tells her that Shady Sands fell over twenty years prior. Rodriguez tells him that the legion has them boxed in, and they need someone to get a message to their battalion for support. Cooper laughs, telling her that he came looking for the NCR for help, having assumed they would be more powerful in Nevada. Rodriguez insists they are winning the war, with Cooper stating that if this is winning, he'd hate to see what losing looks like.
Cooper begins to cough, causing Rodriguez to retrieve a box of Vials, which she gives him. As she does this, she tells him that they're fighting for a good cause and says that the stories say he used to also fight for the same causes. She pleads for help, with him responding that no help will come, as there is no help to come. Cooper takes the vials and begins to leave, before stopping briefly to tell her that "when something's dead, it's usually because it deserved to die."
S2E4 - The Demon in the Snow[edit]
At the NCR Camp in the mountains near Primm, Lucy MacLean awakens with an IV drip running from her arm to an elevated can. She is greeted by Captain Rodriguez, who tells her that she was given meds to make her feel better after she was brought there by Cooper Howard, who is sitting nearby.
Lucy removes the IV and sits up, asking who the group is. Rodriguez responds by telling her that they are members of the New California Republic, as the group packs up their belongings. Lucy questions if this is all that is left, with Biff responding by telling her that there are many of them, they're just not there right now. He asks if she has been to Shady Sands, as that is where they come from. Lucy gives her condolences, with Rodriguez remarking that some "asshole" chose to burn down the first civilization taking shape in 100 years. Cooper then remarks that the past is the past. Lucy tells the soldiers that the majority of people they've met on the road from Los Angeles have been awful, so meeting them was a nice change of pace, causing Biff to thank her for her kind words.
Rodriguez then offers Lucy a place with the NCR, telling her that they are always looking for new recruits. Lucy turns her down, saying that she would, but she is looking for someone. Rodriguez questions if the person she is looking for is someone she cares about or hates, with Lucy responding that it is someone who hurt a lot of people. Rodriguez asks what her plan is once she finds him, and upon hearing Lucy say she plans to bring him to justice, responds that the New California Republic was meant to be about bringing justice to the wasteland, and says they almost did. Lucy smiles and says that she doesn't doubt it. Rodriguez tells Lucy that they won't be able to bring everything with them when they leave, and offers her her pick from a crate of weapons.
Lucy and Cooper leave as the soldiers continue packing. When Lucy tells Cooper that they seemed nice, he responds by asking if she thinks they would still be nice if they knew her father was the one who destroyed Shady Sands. She responds that she wasn't planning to stay with them, as all she saw was more "matching jackets", referencing how Cooper referred to the Great Khans.
S2E8 - The Strip[edit]
Captain Rodriguez successfully reunites with her battalion and sets out for New Vegas. She leads her men into Freeside, where they rescue Maximus from the deathclaws that are on the verge of overtaking him. Rodriguez greets Maximus and tells him that they will take the fight from here, which he says is a good idea. Under her the NCR occupies New Vegas, just in time for the newly reunified Caesar's Legion to march on the city.
