Wm. Collins Video (Or Collins Video) was a home entertainment distributor based in the United Kingdom. It used to own Tempo Video, until they transferred the ownership to Abbey Home Entertainment. (Later Abbey Home Media) It was later merged with Harper & Row Publishers to form HarperCollins Productions.
Visuals: An orange background fades in and the text "Collins" in white, in a serif font zooms in from the bottom and backs out with a trailing effect. As the text backs out, the trail turns into sparkles. Then, the text turns black in which the orange background turns into an isosceles triangle with a border in which the colour is the darker tone, and has a shadow. An orange rectangle grows in from the centre which reads "VIDEO" in blue. A blue traingle wipes in from the bottom.
Variant: A variant exists where it reads "HOME VIDEO" instead of just "VIDEO".
Technique: 2D computer animation.
Audio: A phaser-like sound, then sparkling sounds which is followed by a deep synthesiser note. Then, a reverse cymbal plays followed by a held down C-note with drum beats.
