“It’s fine! I can clean up your mess,” she tells him, still smiling. “And he didn’t—he didn’t kill Baba, so. We should help him, we should make it right. No one else can help him, can they.”

How Shuri deals, after Civil War and Black Panther.

Reccer's Notes: Shuri is the smartest person in the room, and she knows it, and she can fix (almost) everything. Which makes it even more devastating to come up against things--like grief, and trauma--that can't simply be fixed, that have no technological solution, that simply have to be lived through. This fic explores that in such a delicate way, and I love it.
