"Piggy Enemy" is a theme from Kirby Mass Attack that plays during battles with Skullord. It was composed by Shogo Sakai.
Composition[edit]

"Piggy Enemy" is a tense-sounding orchestral theme in the key of A minor with a 4/4 time signature with a fast tempo of approximately 150 BPM. It starts with five jarring low-pitched notes while a trumpet plays two notes in a falling pattern. After two iterations, a flute plays a rising and falling harmonic minor scale-like passage ranging within a tenth, and then these intro elements are repeated again at a higher tone—a tendency that remains throughout the rest of the theme. After the intro, the restless main melody starts, featuring a leap down and up a fifth, followed by circling stepwise motion. It similarly plays twice and is then diatonically transposed up, making it more tense due to the appearance of a diminished fifth. Another synth plays before some loud notes play twice, the second time higher-pitched. The track ends with another melody with more notes before it loops.
Game appearances[edit]
Kirby Mass Attack[edit]
In Kirby Mass Attack, "Piggy Enemy" plays during the boss battles against Skullord, in Volcano Valley - Boss Stage and Necro Nebula - Stage 4. The theme can also be found in the Music Player.
Kirby and the Rainbow Curse[edit]
In Kirby and the Rainbow Curse, an arrangement of "Piggy Enemy" called "Find the Weak Point" plays during the fight against Mecha Cotta in the The Long-Lost Ruins stage. In addition to using higher quality instruments, this arrangement partially masks the final section under an ominous melody of shamisen and flute. The song can be found in the Music Room as track 71 after clearing Hooplagoon, Relic of the Ruins.
