Demonsbane (エビルスレイヤー, Ebiru Sureiyā?, lit. Evil Slayer), also known as Evil Slayer, is a recurring weapon in the Final Fantasy series. It is generally a mid-ranked sword that provides no additional effects.

Final Fantasy XII
Demonsbane is a mid-ranked one-handed sword. In the original PlayStation 2 version, it provides 59 Attack and 5% combo rate. It requires the Swords 3 license to equip, and can be found in the Tomb of Raithwall or bought for 6,000 gil at Rabanastre, Mt Bur-Omisace, and Nalbina Fortress.
In the Zodiac versions, it now provides 51 Attack 5 Evade, 32 CT, 5% combo rate, and requires the Swords 5 license for %% LP. It no longer appears in the Tomb of Raithwall, but can be bought for 5,200 gil at Eruyt Village and Mt Bur-Omisace, found at the Dalmasca Estersand (The Yoma), Paramina Rift (Icebound Flow) and Trial Mode Stage 50 (with Diamond Armlet), or dropped by Yeti (1% chance).

Evil Slayer is a mid-ranked sword that provides 82 Attack and one available slot for jewels. It can be equipped by all races.
Dissidia Final Fantasy
Demonsbane is a level 50 exclusive weapon for Gabranth, which provides +36 Attack and EX Mode Duration +20%. It can be obtained from the shop by trading 15,460 gil, Rapier, Spirit Stone x3, and Time Shard x2.
Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy
Demonsbane is a level 30 exclusive weapon for Gabranth and provides +40 Attack and EX Mode Duration +10%. It can be obtained from the shop by trading 61,000 gil, Rapier, Scarletite, and Warrior's Desire x5.
Dissidia Final Fantasy NT
Demonsbane is one of Vaan's unlockable weapons, based on its appearance in Final Fantasy XII. It can be obtained either by random chance when redeeming a Treasure token, or by purchasing it from the Shop for 7,200 Gil. Like all other characters' weapons, equipping it carries no advantages or disadvantages.
Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia
Demonsbane (XII) is an EX Sword for Vaan that enables access to the EX ability, Pyroclasm, as well as the abilities Pyroclasm Power, Pyroclasm Spread Up, and Pyroclasm Recast Up. It provides 90 HP, 55 DEF, 249-324 iBRV, 2823-3273 mBRV, 930-1080 ATK, and adds 70-80 CP.
