Cowboy is a perk in Fallout: New Vegas.
Gameplay[edit]
Cowboy grants a 25% increase to damage dealt with weapons such as the .357 Magnum Revolver, Lever-Action Shotgun, Dynamite, Knife, Hatchet and any associated unique counterpart.

The Cosmic Knife, Cosmic Knife Clean, Cosmic Knife Super-Heated, and the Police Pistol from Dead Money are unaffected by this perk.

With the Cowboy perk, attacking enemies with revolvers, lever-action firearms, and dynamite always has a chance of knocking weapons from their hands, no matter where they are hit.
