welp, i don't teach until 1:00. i've been at work since 7:30. i've cleaned and prepped everything i need to for my TWO CLASSES (lol) this afternoon, so i ended up looking through my recently-downloaded images.

and here's the thing. track_04 recently pointed me in the direction of a few subaru/nino images. i have no idea if there's more, but DAMMIT I WANT FIC. obviously i missed the boat on the rarepair meme that just happened, but that's par for the course with me.

but yeah. it would be amazing. and angsty because their lives are both SO TRAGIC. but also probably sweet because they could relate to each other! in short, WHY IS THERE NO SUBARU/NINO. or nino/subaru. i'm really not picky.

HOT DAMN i actually got that done before i went to bed! the lack of sleep was totally worth it ♥

wait, ohno and maruyama have the same birthday? that's pretty precious. and now i'm going to be disappointed in fandom if there's no fic posted today about ohno and maru getting together for dinner and a marathon uta no oniisan viewing. hopefully with a low rating because i don't even know how maru/ohno would work. probably a lot like aiba/ohno, really.

but oh man, happy birthday, dudes! and now i've got yet another prompt to add to my "to request whenever there's a rarepair/crackfic meme again" list. right after sho and ohno on dancing with the stars.

simulacratic: do you have the picture of aiba being excited about lemons? that's what i'm looking for, but googling "arashi lemon" gives awful results.

boo imed that to me a while ago and for the life of me i can't remember the magazine that has their cover models pose with lemons. help, anyone? my arashi folder is actually organized by magazine/source, but i apparently don't have any pictures from that specific magazine. hm.

because i was going through my whole arashi folder, i discovered some pictures that i don't remember downloading. i probably just bulk-downloaded a ton of photoshoots and never looked at them. what other explanation can there be for me never talking about this?



ninomiya kazunari: forest ballerina! he is wearing tights and legwarmers, isn't he? i'm pretty charmed by the style, actually, but i have weird tastes in clothing. plus the fact that nino's not the strongest dancer in arashi (understatement?) just makes him as a classically-trained ballet dancer that much more ridiculous.

BUT if the rest of arashi is taken into account, it could turn into a pretty amazing story! ohno's totally the james dean of the dance academy; he's the most talented dancer to ever come through but he just doesn't care about being the best. jun, on the other hand, worked his ass off to get to where he is, but he's been constantly critiqued on his habit of improvising ("improving on, you mean.") all of his choreography. aiba's heart is in breakdancing, but he knows that the only way he's going to make it as a dancer of any sort is through ballet. sho, uh. well. sho tries hard.

IT WOULD BE FABULOUS. ♥

i'm watching my chemical romance's episode of loaded on fuse and reliving college. rockthecliche and i have talked a few times about how ridiculous and awesome it would be if pete wentz bought out je, but gerard way running the company might be even better. the man has a flair for the dramatic and over-the-top, which would fit in pretty well with most of the je groups. a "tokei jikake no umbrella" pv directed by gerard? YES PLZ.

(also since i'm apparently re-discovering my old favorite bands today, i still love davey havok's voice. even if he's aging so tragically these days.)

one in a while, the real chance of love girls actually come up with something intelligent. take sassy: "what it all comes down to is are you a diamond or a pipe? pipes burst under pressure and diamonds are made under pressure." huh. i'm sure she didn't come up with that but i kind of like it.

I'm finally typing this out! Like I said, it seems like not a lot of people know enough about Hiro to get a good idea of his personality, so I took it upon myself to do a little pimping. JUST A WARNING: this labor of love is 75 pictures deep. I've resized the images to fit my browser, but the originals are as big as I could find without them being fuzzy. So be prepared for long loading times!

It's totally worth it. At least I think so.

I think that's about it? Hopefully this helped some people out, especially if they didn't know anything about Hiro. And if you do know about him and notice I left out a glaring part of his history, please feel free to let me know! I'm always up for adding more!

today is pops' birthday, so we took him out to double yolk for breakfast. i had the most amazing strawberry blintzes ever. they used actual mascarpone cheese instead of that weird cottage cheese-ish filling some of the cheaper restaurants use. SO GOOD. mom said some offhand comment to the server about pops getting to order whatever he wanted because it's his birthday and she ended up bringing out some gussied-up fruit crepes with a candle stuck in it. so cute! ♥

pops had to get home to keep working after that (wtf who works on their birthday?) but mom, boo and i went to target. i got the 4gb sd card i'd been looking for (only $13 on sale. i was pretty proud of myself) and these two shirts. i'm apparently back down to an extra small - a small at most other stores - which was a bit of a surprise. i guess portion control is working better than i thought!

ALSO! if you follow me (and either wainscotting, rockthecliche, or melonpunch) on twitter, you've probably noticed that i tend to use it for "omg what if arashi were ___________? LOLOLOL." crackfic idea conversations. i personally always think about them at a later date, laugh, then have to go back through my twitter history to figure out what was exactly said, which is usually a huge pain. but no more! wainscotting and i have been talking about starting a community for general ridiculous au ideas and we've started putting it together.

johnnysgymshow is the new community. there's no entries yet, but there will be soon once one of us (or anyone, i guess) gets around to making a first post. nevermind. i posted because i am a perfectionist who hates the look of an empty journal. XD there's a bit in the userinfo for a better explanation, though. apparently there's a few fic communities who allow community pimping, so i guess that's in the near future as well. in the meantime, join and share? XD

randomly, who was i talking to about buffyverse!arashi? i think the conversation was a while ago, but i very well could have dreamed that it happened. idek.

i am not a writer in any way, shape or form. i draw, i illustrate, i take words and turn them into pictures. i don't put the words together in a way that's anywhere close to how well i can put lines together on a page.

and yet i spent my two-hour planning period today figuring out the skeleton of an arashi-as-equestrians au. oh my god i will probably never be able to convince someone else to write this for me, but i don't even care. it's like a constantly-running au in my mind.

i don't know, am i nuts? this is sort of eating away at my brain.

also, for those of you who don't know, (which is probably most of you? i barely talk about this) most of my childhood was spent in a horse stable. i was a competitive horseback rider until i was a teenager. i competed in both english and western and tried my hand at barrel racing a few times. this subject is very near and dear to my heart. ♥♥♥
