3G network fully disconnected in Lithuania

Bite Lithuania has completed the disconnection of its 3G network. The operator switched off 3G services on 1,200 its telecommunications towers across the country, with the last base stations disconnected in Vilnius in November. The freed up spectrum has been re-deployed for 4G and 5G, helping increase internet speeds by 40 percent on its network.
