Polish operator Play, controlled by Iliad, has introduced a promotion of its double-play services. With a 24-month contract a subscription to fixed broadband at up to 300 Mbps and the TV Max service with 217 channels starts from just PLN 50 per month for a year. Customers also can chooose HBO Max or Eleven Sports free for a year and buy a Samsung 55-inch QLED Q7F2 4K TV for the reduced price of PLN 1,099, down from PLN 2,199 standard rate.

Belarusian national operator Beltelecom is offering customers using iPhones and iPads the opportunity to access its Ogo!Kino video services. They need to download the application Ogokino from App Store for this purpose. The service is already available on Android-powered mobile devices, Android TV-powered television sets, LG TV sets produced since 2022, as well as Samsung televisions manufactured since 2022 and powered by the TizenOS.

Danish broadcaster TV 2 has announced an agreement with Apple TV and Disney+ to give TV 2 Play subscribers access to their streaming services at an attractive price. Singapore operator StarHub has introduced a new annual package for English Premier League content as it expands integration between traditional television services and direct-to-consumer streaming offerings, according to the Straits Times, citing company sources. The new StarHub Premier+ Annual pass will launch on 1 June and is priced at SGD 238 for existing subscribers and SGD 380 for new customers, providing 12 months of access to Premier League content.

AT&T is introducing a new flexible mobile service for customers who bring their own eSim compatible device to the carrier. Available from 27 May online, the 'Build-A-Plan' offering allows customers to adjust their bundles each month. It starts with a basic cost of USD 15 per month (excl. taxes and fees) for unlimited calls and texts and 1 GB of data. RTL Belgium is looking at launching a paid subscription for its streaming service, CEO Guillaume Collard said. In an interview with newspaper L'Echo, he said the broadcaster needs to diversify its revenues due to the pressure on the traditional model of advertising-supported commercial broadcasting. No details on a potential launch date or price were disclosed.

Disney+ has announced a 12.58 percent price increase for its monthly Premium tier in South Africa, raising the rate from ZAR 159 to ZAR 179, with effect from 04 June for existing customers. Annual and Mobile plan prices remain the same. According to Disney+'s South African website, the price changes applied to new customers from 30 April.

Orange Poland has started pre-sales of the Motorola Razr and Motorola Fold in its shops. Up to PLN 1,500 cashback is offered to customers buying the devices and connecting to any tariff plan from the operator. Vodafone Portugal has launched a new, more affordable generation of its Fibre to the Room (FTTR) service, now featuring Wi-Fi 7 for enhanced connectivity throughout the home. The updated FTTR service is available from EUR 5/month in eligible fibre packages, a significant price reduction from its previous offering.

Starlink has increased the price of two of its three residential plans after several years of cost cuts in Spain. The satellite internet operator announced on its website that the price of the Residential 200 and Max plans has been increased by EUR 6 per month to EUR 45 and EUR 65 for internet at download speeds of up to 200 Mbps and 400+ Mbps respectively.

US consumer broadband prices little changed in 2025

Average broadband prices in the US were little changed in 2025, according to a study published by industry group USTelecom. Using data from the 14 largest fixed broadband providers, across cable, DSL and FTTH, it found an average price of USD 69.33 per month for speeds between 100 and 940 Mbps, down 0.9 percent from a year earlier. The average cost for 940 Mbps to 1 Gbps was USD 97.34 per month, up 0.1 percent from 2024.
