Cocktail

From the Audiovisual Identity Database, the motion graphics museum

Cocktail was a subdivision of Almacia Division Video.

Logo (1980s)

Visuals: It starts with a shape with four trapezoids and a circle in the middle spinning counterclockwise with a multicolored trail effect and shrinking in the center of a black background. It then cuts to show neon lines drawing around a silhouette of a couple holding cocktails with the overlapping text "COCKTAIL" on top, which changes colors. Copies of the logo move in different directions before cutting to show the logo, now with a blue gradient background behind the couple. Behind the logo is a moving colored pattern that is initially blue, then turns orange. The pattern moves to the left as the yellow word "PRESENTA" zooms in below the logo, and the background freezes. Finally, the yellow text zooms out.

Technique: Computer animation.

Audio: "That's The Way Of The World" by Herb Alpert.
