"Must Dash" is a theme from Kirby: Triple Deluxe, associated with both Lollipop Land and Dedede's Drum Dash. It was composed by Jun Ishikawa.
Composition[edit]

"Must Dash" is a cheerful and upbeat theme playing at 93 BPM and in the key of C Major. It has a march-like harmony with with a whimsical melody. The main instrumentation consists of snare drums, a tuba, flute, banjo and an accordion. The first section's melody never ventures out of the initial idea, keeping an up and down swung rhythm, the only variations being in the instruments played and the how its structured. Characteristically of an Ishikawa piece, the first half of the A section plays with some slight variations until half way through, where it transitions to the bridge. The bridge is played with a bit more coarser backing but a with a more subdued melody. The focus goes onto a piano that plays a smoother melody consisting mostly of chords. A springy synth is in the background the whole time and a sly sounding oboe jumps in halfway through, giving it a jazzy vibe. The piano concludes on an in imperfect authentic cadence and track loops.
The composition and structure resembles "Reflected Laughter" and thus can be considered a Major, "lighter" variation of it.
