Four things to mention:

1) I moved into my dorm today... and it was REALLY stressful, as usual. :( And I have so much to do tomorrow... I know I said I'd move into the dorm Monday, but then I found out I'd get to wait later before I moved in.
2) Last Wednesday was the 9th anniversary of the original version of PrtSc Land, and I still don't have a USB floppy drive. So remember how I said I was planning on remaking PSL and putting it up on LiveJournal starting on the 10th or 12th or (some other nice number)th anniversary? It's probably not going to be for the 10th anniversary...
3) Lately I've been working on an Excel spreadsheet with the dates, subject lines, userpic keywords, URLs, etc. of every entry I've posted on LiveJournal - AND notes on what I hope to update in each entry eventually, like adding tags, fixing broken images, etc. so that I can keep track of it all more easily. It's far from being done (even just for entries in my own journal), but I'm hoping to get all that maintenance I've been meaning to do on my old entries finished as soon as I can!
4) Today is the 8th anniversary of my LiveJournal! And, for once, I'm doing the LJ comment stats entry on time!
Although on my computer, bar graphs have lately been looking messed up in entries like this one. Does it do that for anyone else - in this or the other LJ Comment Stats entries?

I only waited until five days after the 7th anniversary of my LJ this time - and since the actual 7th anniversary was on the day I packed everything for college and the day after that was when I moved back into the dorm, I actually had a legitimate reason for putting it off two of those days! Go me!

(Though right now I am too lazy to tag this entry, link to the 2013 results, or edit that entry to link to this one. And the delay does mean that pickleboot and I are credited with one more comment each than we would have if I'd done this on the actual anniversary)

Well, I'm not over all of my worries yet, but I think this might be a good time to get back to some of the stuff I've been putting off for a while now first.

I've made a to-do list of those things that I'll put into a poll next time I get the chance so you can decide what you want me to work on first, but I decided I'd definitely start by finally posting the LJ Comment Stats that I normally post every August 19. I'm not manually adding information to make it easier to compare to last year's results this time, though - when I did that last year, it took a really long time. But I might eventually go back and add it.

Here they are finally :)

I also manually added information to make it easier to compare to last year's results. The colors aren't coordinated to the amount of ranks you've went up or down, but rather to (1/y-1/x), where y is your rank this year and x is your rank last year. This means that a jump from, say, 5th to 4th is better than a jump from 23rd to 21st.

Ties, at least for the purposes of how many ranks people went up or down and the colors, are handled by ( Collapse ) If you weren't on last year's list, you're considered to have been tied for 48th through (how many LJ users there were, are, or will be)th place that year, since there were 47 total commenters.

I think it's interesting how last year there were 47 total commenters and this year there were 74 total commenters :D

I think it's funny how awehla is the 7th-highest commenter in my journal, and when she did this I was the 14th-highest commenter in her journal, since 7/14 is my birthday :)
