Tigerclaw (虎爪のフレイル, Kosō no Fureiru?, lit. Tiger Claw Flail) is a recurring weapon in the Final Fantasy series. It is a rod associated with Oerba Dia Vanille.

The Tigerclaw is Vanille's tier one handicap weapon purchased for 300,000 gil from Gilgamesh, Inc.. Its Leadenstrike passive ability has Vanille's ATB fill rate 70% slower. It is part of the Adamancy synthesis group that lets her absorb 1% of damage dealt to enemies as HP. It takes 20,100 EXP to max out and upgrades into a Wyrmfang with a Cobaltite. Its Strength and Magic are even and max out at 198, making it a strong weapon.

Etymology

[view · edit · purge]The tiger (Panthera tigris) is the largest cat species, reaching a total body length of up to 3.38 m (11.1 ft) over curves and exceptionally weighing up to 388.7 kg (857 lb) in the wild. Its most recognisable feature is a pattern of dark vertical stripes on reddish-orange fur with a lighter underside.
