Staff of Light (光の杖, Hikari no Tsue?), also known as Light Staff and Shining Staff, is a recurring weapon in the Final Fantasy series. It is often a high-ranked staff, used by magic-based classes. It is usually associated with either the Lightning or Holy element.

The Staff of Light is a high-ranked staff only obtainable in the Arcane Labyrinth, and is a weapon exclusive to Minwu. It provides 90 Attack, 75% Accuracy, 2% Evade, and +50 Intelligence, Magic, Agility, and Spirit.

Light Staff is a low-ranked staff that casts Thunder when used as an item. It can be bought in the Village of the Ancients , the Dwarven Hollows (NES), and Northeast Saronia (NES) for 3,500 gil. It provides 20 Attack, as well as +2 Intelligence and Mind.
Classes which may equip the Light Staff are Onion Knight, White Mage, Black Mage, Evoker, Devout, Magus, Summoner, and Sage.

When turned into a jewel, a level 3-9 Light Staff makes a Holy Stone 1, level 10-19 makes an Anti-Time Stone 4, and level 20-30 makes an Amethyst.
