    Appearances

    Final Fantasy XII

The Ivory Pole is a high-ranked pole. In the original PlayStation 2 version, it provides +75 Attack and 12% combo rate. It can be bought for 13,500 gil at Balfonheim Port, or bought from the Bazaar by selling Wind Crystal x7, Demon Feather x6, and Blood-darkened Bone x8. It requires 35 LP and the Poles 4 license to equip.

In the Zodiac versions, it now provides 83 Attack, 30 Evade, 25 CT, 15% combo rate, and requires the Poles 5 license 50 LP. It can be bought from Balfonheim Port for 13,770 gil, found as a treasure in Feywood (The Edge of Reason), dropped from Etém (3% chance), or from the Bazaar for 7,980 gil after selling Blood-darkened Bone x8, Demon Feather x6, and Wind Crystal x7.

The ivory pole is the third-strongest pole, being bested by the eight-fluted pole and the whale whisker. It provides +11 attack and 20% weapon defense, and can be rarely poached from a Sekhret and caught from level 95 enemy ninjas who know "Throw Poles". Poles' damage depends on the wielder's magick stat, rather than their physical strength, and can be equipped to mystics, arithmeticians, and the Galthena siblings.
