somein30 is on its second summer hiatus rewind, and that means I can redo earlier challenges. There's only one challenge I skipped (iirc), and I still don't want to do that (it was the music genre challenge), so I'm doing challenges I've already done before. The first one I picked is Challenge #13, Icon Crossing. For this challenge, you need to randomize your own icons into 20 pairs and then create new icons based on characteristics of each pair.

How I randomized my icons:
What I did is I put all the links of all my icons since 2007 into one single text file. This was easy, because I have all my icons hosted in the same hosting service, and you can get the lists of links for each gallery with a single button click. My galleries are organized by year, and I skipped the ones older than 2007 - that's way long ago and I didn't feel the need to remake even worse icons than 15 year-old ones. :D (And leaving out older icons is mentioned as an option in the challenge rules.) Then I put the list into a randomizer - I always use the same one: http://www.unit-conversion.info/texttools/shuffle-lines/ . It did not even blink when I pasted over 9000 lines into the textbox. :D And then I simply took the first couple dozen lines out again and put them together. Lines 1+2 = pair 1, 3+4 = pair 2. Voila: 20 randomized pairs.

I chose Extra Hard Mode again, which means I had to use technical aspects of one or both icons, *and* use one of the two screencaps to make the new icon. (I flipped the pairs such that the reused screencap is always on the left. I just found it neater to look at.)

I originally intended to make a full 20-icon set, but there were no more Zhu Yilong-related caps in pairs 11-20, so I just lost motivation. 10 has to be good enough this time. To neonspider : In case there is voting (which I'm not sure there is for the summer rounds), please take the first one from pair 5 and the second one from pair 10. Pair 11 is only a bonus joke icon, since it breaks Extra Hard mode, so I don't consider it part of the set. You can either add it to the voting or not, your choice.
