also school stared today. Woo last first day!

Today's xkcd almost made me cry! I literally did gasp in fear!!



And that's all I had to say, really. I just realllly liked that book and I like the movie too and it was such a pathetic overreaction I thought I should tell someone.

This is REALLY BAD QUALITY, but the content MORE THAN MAKES UP FOR IT.

May 16th also needs to get here so I can watch Glee. Which I can already tell I'm going to be such a stupid fangirl over since I already am. But I have a loooot of friends who are already excited, too. So it works out...if I can fanspasm in real life, I don't look like such a freak online. :D



also I think I'm going to be late with Change of Heart. Not like...drastically late. But later than I have been past two updates.
And I don't even have a good excuse. I was too "busy" rereading the entire archives of Shortpacked! to write.

However, I think my comedic timing has been amped up a few notches from my marathon webcomic readings, AND my super-subtle romantic insertations followed suit. So I guess I could call that "research" in a super farflung way.

I woke up today thinking it was Monday.

I got ready for school (put on my Batman Shirt from Dark Knight Midnight Premiere...yay DVDs) thinking it was Monday.

I checked my webcomics thinking it was Monday. I was horrified that NONE of my M/W/F comics had updated...absolutely livid and ready to write the day off as HORRIBLE.

It wasn't until half-way through seminary when someone mentioned "yesterday, at school" that I realized it was Tuesday.

I STILL feel like I lost a day that I'll never get back. I mourn it so much.

(perhaps that's because I spent an hour drawing chickens when I should have been studying and thus pretty much failed my AP Art History Exam...or maybe because I thought it was frickin' MONDAY)


on a semi-related sidenote...I have this big Christmas project for a lot of y'all that I was going to do, and I've moved the day of posting it so that I don't go as crazy. Might be less fun, but less crazy when I have finals and Christmas shopping/ present-making is better than "fun".

um I can't unbold the stuff under the cut.

My least favorite thing about Saturday (even worse than housework) is that only two of my webcomics get updated.
How lame am I?

AND I went to a Christmas Party at Church...I lost two button on my new coat at the party (that's totally the fourth one I've lost. I lost the thing on the back first, saved those buttons (thank goodness!) then I lost the top three in a row and found two of them, one at home and one at the party, and then I lost a sleeve button thing at the party). The little girl who was helping me look suggested I ask Santa.
I love Santa. <3 We had such a good Santa and Mrs. Claus at the party...they were just plain awesome all around.
If you're wondering about my buttons, we're using the thing on the back to resew the two for-good lost ones and taking off the remaining buttons. We're resewing them ALL stronger. :|

So everyday when I get online FIRST thing I do is check all my webcomics for updates on their scheduled day.
First my M/W/F if it happens to be M/W/F, then my dailies, then I check my sporadic ones sporadically. Because I'm lame and don't like trying to figure out RSS or nuthin'. XD

On Catena's website they've had the same filler all summer. On that filler it said "returning September", which usually means like...middle of september.
If TV shows and movies opened the first day of the promised month, I would probably start worshipping the number 1. Okay, so I exaggerate...but only slightly!
BUT I'm optomistic and a webcomic nerd, so I went on Catena anyway, seeing as today is SEPTEMBER (I C U theunknownsoul ) and BANG there was a new comic!!! :D
I about fell out of my chair!

Now we just need Lackadaisy to start making promises! >:D
