Nintendo Music is a music-streaming service that features songs from various Nintendo games, including Animal Crossing, Animal Crossing: New Leaf, and Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Released on October 31, 2024, it requires a Nintendo Switch Online membership to use.

Nintendo Music was initially available only as a mobile app on iOS and Android smartphones. A web client, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto apps, and tablet-optimized mobile apps were released on June 2, 2026.

Game soundtracks

Animal Crossing

The soundtrack for Animal Crossing was added to Nintendo Music on April 14, 2026, coinciding with the 25th anniversary of Doubutsu no Mori. There are 158 tracks, totaling a length of 5 hours and 18 minutes. Tracks exclusive to Doubutsu no Mori+ and Doubutsu no Mori e+ are included as well. In Japan, the soundtrack is referred to as Doubutsu no Mori+, and the soundtracks for Doubutsu no Mori and Doubutsu no Mori e+ serve as redirects to this album.

This is the first time the first-generation games have received a full official soundtrack release. Previously, some of the tracks from this release had appeared on Nintendo Sound Selection Vol.1 and Vol.3, and "Aerobics" had appeared on Animal Crossing Sound CD: Keke Choice! Mix.

None of K.K. Slider's songs—the live versions of which were included in 2001's Doubutsu no Mori: Totakeke Music and Totakeke Music 2—are included in this soundtrack release. The various pieces of Game Boy Advance music from the Animal Island minigame, design maker, e-Reader, and the Doubutsu no Mori e+ minigames are also not included.

Animal Crossing: New Leaf

The soundtrack for Animal Crossing: New Leaf was added to Nintendo Music on November 4, 2025. There are 188 tracks, totaling a length of 4 hours 53 minutes.

This is the first time New Leaf has received an official dedicated soundtrack release. Previously, "Town Tree" had appeared on Nintendo Sound Selection: Endings & Credits, and three remixes of New Leaf tracks had appeared on Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U: A Smashing Soundtrack.

None of K.K. Slider's songs or the tracks introduced in the Welcome amiibo update are included in this soundtrack release.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons

The soundtrack for Animal Crossing: New Horizons has been available on Nintendo Music since its launch on October 31, 2024. There are 442 tracks, totaling a length of 13 hours 21 minutes. As of June 2026, the New Horizons soundtrack has the most tracks and the second-longest runtime of any soundtrack on Nintendo Music. 407 tracks were initially available, with 10 new tracks from the 3.0 Free Update being added to the soundtrack on March 31, 2026, and 25 tracks from the Happy Home Paradise DLC being added on June 26, 2026. The soundtrack for Animal Crossing: New Horizons – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition serves as a redirect to this album.

The original 407 tracks were originally released in Japan across Atsumare Dōbutsu no Mori: Original Soundtrack and Atsumare Dōbutsu no Mori: Original Soundtrack 2; the 10 version 3.0 tracks and 25 Happy Home Paradise tracks are exclusive to Nintendo Music. 18 of the instrumental K.K. Slider tracks were also released in Japan as part of Atsumare Dōbutsu no Mori: Totakeke Music Instrumental Selection. This is the soundtrack's first release outside of Japan.

The bonus tracks "Opening Theme (Remote Performance)" and "HAZURE02 -City & Pop Ver.- [Bonus Track]" from Atsumare Dōbutsu no Mori: Original Soundtrack and Atsumare Dōbutsu no Mori: Totakeke Music Instrumental Selection, respectively, are not included in this soundtrack release.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

The soundtrack for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has been available on Nintendo Music since its launch on October 31, 2024. Of its 149 total tracks, five are based on the Animal Crossing series, all from the Animal Crossing race course.

The five Animal Crossing series tracks, along with all other tracks from the Wii U version of the game, were originally released in Japan and Europe on the Mario Kart 8 Original Soundtrack in 2015. However, unlike with Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the tracks in this release differ from the versions heard on Nintendo Music.
