Nov. 28th, 2007 10:06 amMy rosacea is getting worse.
It's pretty mild, but it's less mild lately.
Things that exacerbate rosacea: stress, caffeine, alcohol, hot water, sun.
Things that I do to my skin: stress, caffeine, alcohol, hot water, sun.
Actually, I hardly drink alcohol, and I'm not in the sun very much at all.
I've tried soy and calendula cleanser/cream from Body Shop. I've got a prescription gel. And I've tried Lush's Angels on Bare Skin.
It's all probably kept the rosacea at bay somewhat, but hasn't helped, and I'm drinking more caffeine lately which is awful, and getting maybe less sleep? I don't know.
So the spa where E's b'day was held showed me some products that would help (supposedly), but they were too expensive to try out without maybe a sample first.
At the Lush store, though, on the suggestion of the employee, I got a sample of Aquamarina cleanser, which I've now used twice, last night and this morning. It doesn't smell great, but doesn't smell bad, either (Angels on Bare Skin does, I think). And my face feels very soft and smooth, so I'm loving that so far.
I hope it works. : )
