Hooray!!!! Barack Obama has just been elected president!
I'm here at home after a great Midweek MANIA service project, sitting in the living room with both of my daughters, watching CNN, refreshing cnn.com, and reading both bbses.

It's also looking like the Senate and the House will be filled with democrats.The House hasn't been called yet, though. The House has gone to the Democrats as well!

A good healthy handful of Illinois elections have gone to the democrats as well, so another yay (and Oberweis lost :P).
Still waiting to hear about Prop 8 (ban on gay marriage) and Prop 4 (limits abortion) in California, and other similar propositions.
Also waiting for the neck-and-neck race for Minnesota senator to be called: go Franken!
