I’m truly excited to keep taking my Big Walks – no matter the off-putting name of the friendslop genre, this game is what you make it, and I believe each group that plays will make it their own unique kind of wonderful.

A funny, exciting, and deeply rewarding multiplayer adventure that combines knockabout fun with some surprisingly big ideas.

Big Walk is a standout surprise that celebrates social connection through immersive exploration, intuitive level design, and creative puzzles. While a few minor technical issues exist, they don't dull the game's charm. Gather some friends and dive in blind to enjoy its mix of laughter and quiet wonder. It's a fun, surprisingly touching reminder of our social nature.

Big Walk gives us an excuse to gather together with friends, go on some walks, and solve some often great puzzles. It’s a great example of a developer gradually building on its ideas for more complex and challenging tasks that make you realize what you did before prepared you for this. (And sometimes, maybe it really does feel like basketball is the answer.) It’s a great excuse to sit back, work together, and talk things through in a pleasant world filled with colorful puzzles.

Being alone in Big Walk evokes a feeling we're not sure we've had in a videogame before. It digs up real-life memories of getting separated from the group at music festivals and on school trips, and from parents in the supermarket when you're young enough for the aisles to feel like a towering labyrinth. Big Walk succeeds by turning communication itself into the heart of its cooperative adventure. Its strongest puzzles emerge from simple mechanics, environmental awareness, and the unpredictable interactions that happen when a group of friends tries to solve problems together. A handful of less inventive challenges and some technical rough edges keep it from feeling completely polished, but they do little to diminish a multiplayer experience that consistently rewards curiosity, experimentation, and teamwork.

Big Walk shines when you tackle its varied puzzles together, as teamwork is essential and no one can carry the group alone. While there's plenty to discover, the world often feels surprisingly empty, with long stretches where little happens. If you're looking for a virtual hangout with close friends, you'll have a great time—but the game itself relies on your group to make the fun.

An absolutely engaging, immersive, and rewarding experience. Probably one of the best gaming experiences of my life. There are a few conditions, though. In my opinion, you need a group of friends. People you like. And you need to follow the game's principle philosophy. So no using outside voice chat, no using discord or WhatsApp or text messages, and no googling. There's something wonderful about letting things happen naturally and then coming together to solve problems. It's as immersive as you let it. I highly recommend it for anyone who is ready to give it a chance with some friends. I do not recommend the Switch 2 version due to immersion breaking and distracting pop-in and performance issues (barring any fixes down the line), but any other version is great!

Extremely boring, way too much walking, was hard to hear my friends as the volume settings were weird with no way to change things

No content, incredibly boring, only entertaining with friends. Just join a discord call with your friend and play some other GOOD co op games like peak or lethal company instead of playing this overpriced crap game.
