Overall, I was deeply and thoroughly impressed and entertained by Twisted Tower, which has become my new favorite game of the year. I highly recommend it to fans of BioShock, horror, or anyone looking for an incredibly unique and memorable gaming experience. The combat is fun, the level design and enemies are immaculate, and the setting is something that is certain to stick with you long after you’ve beaten the game, just like a recurring nightmare.

From the title screen, I knew I was going to like Twisted Tower. Drawing on a clear love of Bioshock, it tells its own twisted story in a fun and creepy way. Satisfying, brutal combat will take you on a compelling, and gory, adventure to save the damsel in distress through a well-crafted carnival of madness.

All in all, it's more than evident that Thomas Brush and his team did their homework and spent their five years of development on this game very wisely. The world of Twisted Tower is impressively vast, with so much to explore from one playthrough to the next. Its thematic and narrative depth is commendable too, though it could have pushed the envelope just a bit further on that front. With few bugs or hiccups to even think of, it's an all-around polished and genuine love letter to the dramatic narrative of BioShock, with plenty of thrilling combat to keep players busy and entertained, just as Mr. Twister would intend.

Loot Level Chill
Twisted Tower is the classic FPS you always wanted, with a charming horror theme park setting and some seriously ridiculous guns.

Twisted Tower is imperfect, short, a bit empty from time to time. It has a faulty currency balance, boring cutscenes, and overly simple puzzles. But it has soul. It has love. It has a world you want to live in, and that is what matters most. After endless 100-hour AAA open-world masterpieces, it's like a breath of fresh air (even if it smells like burnt popcorn).

Noisy Pixel
Twisted Tower is a horror-comedy FPS set within an outlandish abandoned theme park, propelled forward by an intriguing underlying mystery. While the narrative is often a bit too talkative and the many attempts at humor miss more often than they land, the compelling environments, bloodthirsty enemies, and bizarre arsenal of weapons ensure that any visitors to this weekend getaway should have an enjoyable and memorable experience.

The Wand Report
Sloppy, buggy, and derivative, Twisted Tower can offer only a few moments of diversion despite a refreshingly short runtime. Instead, it furnishes its baffling world with constant reminders or just how little thought and intention has gone into its development.
