#HOLY FUCKING SHIT YES PLEASEMore you might like
Even if you have NO interest in this movie... You should still click through to see the 2nd gif
listen, fuck "to each their own", sometimes your mutual gets into some batshit insane rarepair that they're a little embarrassed about and it becomes your sworn duty to put on your jester bells and jingle jangle proudly by their side for moral support. don't be a pussy. it's ride or die motherfucker
Burton "Gus" Guster. Character of all time. His middle name should be "Yes And". He is ride or die but he will kvetch about it. He is literally screaming crying throwing up. He's divorced. He has strong opinions about Pluto. He almost joined a cult. He claims his bestie on his taxes. He can tap dance and sing like a pro. He blogs about marine animals. He has so many niche interests. His bestie had to blackmail his boss to allow him to continue running around solving crime. He accurately deciphered the text message "binshot not lol". He went undercover as a model. He's not over losing the spelling bee as a child. He owns a shirt advertising cold sore medicine. He drove a stolen car to San Francisco to be with his bestie and only turned around 12 times. He's a sympathetic crier.

What is your total word count on AO3?
780,617. Huh.
How often do you write?
Generally only on the weekends (or public holidays/actual holidays). It’s rare that I’ve the energy or emotional wherewithal to do any writing after work. I do often work out problems/plots/ideas while walking to and from the train, though, and a worrisome number of new fic ideas have been born on my commute.
Do you have a routine for writing?
Sort of. I need some kind of background noise, what it is depends on what I’m writing. Usually it can be a tv show on really low, so it’s barely audible, but for heavy emotional stuff or fight scenes I need music. Fight scenes need music with a beat - SO much easier to choreograph them! Otherwise, I just sit at my computer and write. I try not to edit anything until the story’s done.
What’s your favorite kinks/tropes/pairing?
Tropes: magical au, magical realism, bed sharing, touch issues, touch starved,
Pairings: Steve/Bucky, yup. I’m not adverse to Nat/Clint and, honestly, Clint/Coulson is a’okay with me as are the canon MCU ships. Brotps, I adore Steve&Nat. I generally don’t read Steve or Bucky with anyone else, with a very few exceptions.
Kinks: Don’t got none, sorry.
Do you have a favorite fic of yours?
It’s a toss up between Balance and The Necrofloranomicon.
Your fic with the most kudos?
If Wishing Made it So, bless it. (I must get started on the next one…)
Anything you don’t like about your writing?
I often get accused of overthinking things (and it’s true) but I feel like this is a complex question. Are there things I’d like to improve in my writing? Are there areas that need work? Absolutely. Among other things: I get lazy, I use repetitive turns of phrase or methods of description, I’d like to go deeper into things, I get frustrated and say fuck it, good enough, I use repetitive turns of phrase, but that’s different from I don’t like it. And, you know, maybe this will make me sound arrogant or egotistical or whatever, but I don’t not like my own writing. I like my stories, every bit of them, problems and all. I re-read my own fics. They make me happy. I wrote them to scratch my own itch, so to speak, and sometimes they’re my go to happy place better than anything else. So, yeah. Just because I recognise something’s flawed doesn’t mean I don’t like it.
Now something you do like?
Something I really like is that I go all in, ride or die, utterly no shame on the fluff.
Tagging, uh, @galwednesday, @brendaonao3, @thelittleblackfox, @drowningbydegrees, @rohkeutta, @dsudis, @gryphye and @theprinceofprinces, because eight is my favourite number. As always, if you want to have been tagged: hurray, I tagged you (even if your name isn’t precisely visible)! If you don’t want to have been tagged: pfft, there’s no tag here, I don’t know what anyone’s talking about.
Daggerbound by T. Kingfisher is the hilarious, m/m romantic adventure you didn’t know you needed.
