“chocolate guy” is currently shilling for harry potter so i better not see yall post his shit anymore. anyone who engages with that shit especially for money is scorched earth as far as i’m concerned.
Oh no, a person making chocolate sculptures for the rich has made a chocolate sculpture of a character from the most famous children's book series in the world!!! How terrible, we should hang him for his crimes against humanity!
Seriously, get real problems if this is what's getting to you.
And also, go outside and touch grass.
everybody say thank you black trans women
we don't have to do anything you should be thanking us for not choosing violence every day
A lot of people are ragging on the 'cable diverted to avoid Dobby's grave after Harry Potter fans raise a stink' thing and while I also love ragging on Harry Potter fans being weird, in this case it looks like the story was completely made up.
tl;dr: There's no evidence the interview that this was mentioned in even exists, no evidence the route of the cable has ever changed, and the whole story seems to originate from one dude's podcast.
The story also broke into mainstream via the Daily Mail, who are ... rarely if ever honest or accurate.
not to defend such a suspicious story (why would Greenlink listen to these fans? why can no one find evidence of fans' supposed backlash?), but this post actually does nothing to disprove the possibility of Ludlam's anecdote.
in the Energy Revolution podcast interview, Ludlam says the backlash came after an onsite interview with BBC Wales. no offense, but idk how you "search and search" and not find the second result on google if you type in "greenlink bbc wales."
this BBC Wales article that allegedly sparked the backlash is from July 12th 2018, predating everything else in this reddit post. assuming the rumored change was made between mid July and October, all of the materials linked would have been from after the redirect and therefore irrelevant for proving the plans had never changed.
tl;dr: the interview absolutely exists, no evidence of change would be present by comparing documents after the change occurred, and it really does originate from one dude on a podcast.
Oh fuck, the Hulk is now in Dark Souls.
Supergirl in Stardew Valley. I'm pretty sure that's just a regular visit to the Kent farm though
DYK that's was the point of the game? It was invented by Eleanor Abbott for children hospitalized with polio. The disease would effect mobility among other things so Candyland focused instead on bright colors and engaging illustrations rather than complicated gameplay to encourage the imagination of bedbound children. This post, and this comment, is a testament to Abbots genius in when she made this game.
