On July 16, 2024, Board of Education approved changes to the personal electronic devices policy. All changes can be found in the Student Code of Conduct & Parent Handbook as well as in Policy 7:190 Student Behavior.
Celebrating Black History Month
Students throughout our school worked together to create beautiful works of art to celebrate Black History Month. And they learned so much about our nation's history!
Attendance Matters at Franklin Grove
Attendance every day is so important, and our students know it! Our Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade students won a trip to the Children's Museum of Illinois for having excellent attendance!
Grandparents Day at Franklin Grove
We loved welcoming hundreds of grandparents to our school on Grandparents Day in September. It really takes a village to educate our students!
We Are a Rainbow of Possibilities
Franklin Grove showcased our aspiring artists during Art Night in April. Thank you to everyone who came out to see and encourage our young artists!

Franklin Grove Elementary is one of seven neighborhood elementary schools in Decatur Public Schools, serving Kindergarten through 6th grade students on Decatur's northwest side.
