12 ancient bloodlines

Not a lot to work with.

The 12 ancient bloodlines are royal bloodlines said to hold power comparable to the gods.

The blood forms connections between the different descendants, rarely bestowing messages or warnings about them.

Known members of the 12 ancient bloodlines are the royal family of Ast, last of whom is Kurt, as well as Rusty, whose family was also killed. Due to their power, the 12 families are popular targets for retainers of shadow, who seek to either destroy them or make that power their own.

There exists a 13th bloodline, descended from Fenris herself, the last known member of whom is Joachim. His family went into hiding in order to protect themselves from being targeted by Fenris, though they were also publically known and hated by their fellows. The descendants of this bloodline are capable of becoming vessels for Fenris.

But I am heir to the throne of the royal family of Ast, one of the 12 ancient bloodlines.
- Kurt in Book 1 light chapter 10: Just a Dream?
The Demon Wolf desires the prince, as he is from one of 12 ancient bloodlines, and... Argh!
- Gotthold in light chapter 11: Traitor
That blood is special. According to folklore, it holds powers comparable to those of the gods.
The blood of the 12 royal families could be sending a message, or a warning of some kind.
- Alberta in Wolf Brother shadow Epilogue: Ancient Ties
We've discovered a wolf bloodline richer in the blood of the great Fenris than any of the others.
One that will serve as a vessel for the goddess of shadows. Our mission now is to lure them into the shadow.
- Hati in book 1 shadow epilogue: A 13th Bloodline

Version history

The devs are sneaky about some changes for no reason. Mainly writing down stuff I noticed personally.

1.3.0

26.12.2025

Big changes to daily challenges: used to be semi-random. NY Event also added Medals to "Play 1 match" challenge reward (40 per day, one week per disciple, cycling in release order).

1.5.0

  • The great rapport doubling.
  • "Better visibility for seeing what side you're on" amounts to your own disciple now glowing either blue/purple on the start of match screen in addition to the big ol "YOU FIGHT FOR THE [Light/Shadow]" banner on top.
  • Daily challenges are now displayed on the right of the home screen, right above the battle button.

1.9.0

  • In addition to supports now appearing in profiles, the profile flavor text also has a background now instead of being purely transparent. Neat.
  • The tutorial got changed again. Lumi is the narrator now.

1.10

  • Bots can change votes in the middle of the voting phase now. This does not make them smarter.
  • Daily challenges now 1 match for 40 medals, 2 matches for 300 pass points. Medals are back on Kurt babey

Supports missing locations

Need video to double check... We shall get there.

  • Yuni/Joachim (A Support)
  • Rusty/Ananke (All)
  • Sai/Shea (A Support)
  • Gotthold/Carina (B, A Supports)
  • Kurt/Zasha (B, A Supports)

Notes

  • pretty sure now one phase is 6 seconds, a lot of buff skills and dot skills work on 6 second basis
  • you cannot vote for yourself during voting
  • Buffs/debuffs, even when they're labelled "permanent", are removed when a unit dies and is revived in Moon Room. However, all permanent status effects actually carry between rooms
  • Magic skills are unlocked in left to right order as listed under "Magic Skills" on profile. Meaning Light -> Light -> Dark.
  • summoned minions cannot attack on the phase they are summoned (i.e. shadow minion summoned on shadow phase will not attack)
  • Default enemies in rooms may also be tied to shadow's level
  • Weapons have a max inventory of 1000. If the inventory is full, a player cannot participate in matches until inventory space is cleared. Weapon skills and souls do not have an inventory limit.
  • Triangle advantage is a +/- 20% damage modifier
  • Only first six units (Kurt, Gotthold, Carina, Alberta, Zasha, Rose) have droppable Medals after matches (so far)
